My new friends is gone….

After having “buddy” for almost a week he’s gone. Saturday we were siting around outside playing with him and throwing his ball.  About 15-20 minutes later he was not here any more. He never once while I had him tried to run off or wonder away from the house. Emmy and I walked all up and down Lozier lane calling for him but he never came. I guess this explains why he was such a great dogie and was a stray…

My new friend.

Nick and I have found a new little friend, or I should say he found us.   He is super sweet and listens very well.  He enjoys spending time with our cat Frankie and Frankie like him.  He has showed himself to be loyal and we have only known him for 4 days but every time we come home he finds a “gift” for us as soon he see us.  The gifts have seemed to vary from, a t shirt, a rock, as tennis ball, a stuffed animal, a Nintendo remote, a piece of concrete to a shoe.  He seems to be still very young at age probably around a year or 2 but still very calm and mellow.  I think we have decided to keep him as he has proved to us he is “worthy”!  He does not have a name yet but we have been calling him “buddy” and he is a golden retriever with the sweetest little face you have ever seen!

I need another pet like I need a hole in my head but something keeps tugging at me and telling me I would be a fool to let him go.  Masahd is getting older and I have just now realized that he wont be in my life for much longer.  I guess that since I have had my old boy since 8th grade I would have him all my life, it sure suck when reality sets in.  For those of you who don’t know Masahd he is a German Shepard and Malamute mix.  He’s about 100lbs and is the sweetest most well behaved animal in the world and is about 12-13 years old.

Any advise on a name for the new dog would be great.  He is already starting to respond to Buddy so I would like a name that rhymes with Buddy!

Jay and Meg’s wedding

I was so upset writing my blog about gay rights that I forgot to say what a great day Saturday was, it was jay and Megan’s wedding!

phpslfl6qpm.jpg

It was good to see Jay and Megan so happy they both deserve one another! It was so good to see some good friends that I don’t get out to see much like Jason, Scotty, Lucas, Matt, Shannon, Devin, and most of all DAN who I have not seen months. Basically we all just sat around and talked, drank, took shots, talked, drank, took shots, phpjtguffpm.jpg

phpqkyegmpm.jpgtalked, drank, and had an all around good time.

Some of us played some games: like get the beer cap in Barb’s tits.

It was an all around GOOD time! I wish events like this didn’t only happen once in a while!

Governor signs gay rights bills

So I mistakenly was looking on the Mail Tribune (local news paper) website and came across the link Governor signs gay rights bills I clicked on it and it took me to a form where people were discussing gay rights. The first post in the form says:

“This is a sad day in Oregon History. My heart weeps for the future of our children and true marriage. Marriage is ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN. Anything else is NOT marriage. Call it anything else but it will NEVER be marriage. They may have won this battle but we know who wins the war.

I got mad and wrote back. I would usually just be angry and accept that I have different beliefs than them and not do anything about it but I created an account and wrote I back the following:

My heart weeps for the future of YOUR children since you are sheltering them from reality, possible friendships, and teaching them to DISCRIMINATE against somebody because they are gay. Marriage is a relationship in which TWO PEOPLE have pledged themselves to one another. A relationship is formed by loving and caring for one another and does not matter who you find love in and who loves you as long as you both are happy, GAY OR STRAIGHT!

I find this sad that this is how you feel. I’m a happily married woman who is married to a man, however I have many Gay friends and Gay couples that if they were not in my life I would be missing out on some amazing friendships and amazing HUMAN BEINGS.

I am one to not argue my political beliefs because I know everybody thinks his or her beliefs are right. I would rather spare the argument that nobody will win at. However, I felt I needed to say something. I think I’m just tired of hearing the word “gay” “gays” like they are a breed of people. Just like somebody who might breed Labridor retrievers would talk about their “Lab” or “Labs”. This just disgusts me that people can’t accept.

Care Bares and Rainbow Bright

Friday night Nick and I cleaned the house and went to bed. I had to be at work at 6:45am. Saturday, Nick cut down all the trees that were along our driveway and pushed around 20 yards of 3/4 gravel. Our driveway is HUGE now and we could possibly fit 15-20 cars in it apposed to 3 or 4 cars.

Saturday when I got of work I came home and helped Nick by mowing the yards and weed whacking. That was an experience. I had the god damn weed whacker. Have you ever used on of these things? All it did was make my arms, face, and clothing GREEN and I have little cuts along my arms and now look like a drug addict. My favorite pair of sunglasses are scratc too! Well I guess whats important is that my yard is starting look a lot better!

Around 7:00pm Jay, Meg, Josh, his sister Johnny, her friend, and Melissa came over. It was nice out and the sun was still warm. Josh, Johnny and I left to go to the dollar store to get some glow stick and I think between the 3 of us we got about $20 worth. We also grabbed some silly string. When we got back we ambushed everybody on the back porch with glow in the dark Silly String. It was fun. Jay ran to his truck and got a “big boys” can of “silly string” called a fire extinguisher. Later that night we ended up cutting the ends of our glow stick and that turned into a glow stick fight! The next morning or yard was COVERED with white powder, colorful oil from the glow stick and silly string. It looked the Care Bares and Rainbow Bright went to war.

My weekend was great, I have GREAT friends!

I feel sad though because I never got to see Denise! I was going to go Friday but didn’t get out of work till almost 4:00pm. I didn’t was to go out to the bars because I would drink and it was Cinco de drinko day and cops were EVERY WARE!!

Denise, I will make it up to you FOR SURE when you move here! I’m super sorry!

:::::::::MY ASSHOLE STORY:::::::::::

I know I said I was going to write this FOREVER ago but I have been basically living outside because of the wonderful weather. Since I have been outside I have not been able to use my computer.

Sorry in advance this is not edited in any way so i hope it makes some sense to you!

:::::::::MY ASSHOLE NEIGHBOR:::::::::::

Since the very day we moved into our house on December-2-2005 the guy 4 houses down from me has been a PAIN IN MY ASS! I live on a short dirt road that is about the length of a block to two blocks long. I think he lives in his driveway because every morning/afternoon/evening/weekday/weekend he is out there. He has 2 young boys that play in the road that are about 8 and 10 years old and 2 large dogs that are always in his driveway but occasionally in the road with the kids. There is no speed limit posted on our road and I have always just assumed it would probably be 25 miles per hour. Since the road is dirt I usually go about 10-12 miles per hour because of the dust. The first day we moved in he yelled at me to “SLOW THE FUCK DOWN” whenI was going 10mph. I ignored him until after hearing this many times after and started to flip him the bird anytime I heard him repeat those words. He yells at my neighbors, my friends, my mother, my sister-in-law and anybody else he wants to…

So the other day Emmy and I were leaving to meet some friends in town and Nick was leaving the same time to get himself something to eat. Nick was the first one to drive down, then Emmy, and then myself. I could hear the jerks WIFE yelling at Nick, then yelling at Emmy, and then she told me to “SLOW THE FUCK DOWN”. I threw my hands in the air as to say “screw you, I’m not doing anything wrong” but didn’t look at her or in her direction and kept driving.

I didn’t stay in town much longer than 45 minutes and decided to come home because I was tired. It was about 8:55pm and as I turned onto my road I didn’t want to hear them scream and yell so I just left my foot completely off the gas or brake and let my car idle down the dirt road. As I was approaching the Ass Holes house he was waiting at the end of his driveway for me and as I got close he walked out into the middle of the road and stood there so I could not pass by to get to my own house. I stopped and sat there…..He didn’t even move. I think he was waiting for me to get out of my car or something but I sure as hell was staying inside my car. I turned my wheel to the left to try and go around him but he just moved over. After what felt like several minutes he started to walk to my side of the car. I just kept driving and he yelled “you better roll the fucking window down bitch, I need to talk to you” so I rolled it HALF WAY DOWN. The first thing out of his moth when my window was down was “do you have a FUCKIN PROBLEM with my WOMAN?” I didn’t say anything or look at him and he again repeated himself. I told him I didn’t thing I had a problem with his “FUCKING WOMAN” but I might have an issue “with his wife”. From there everything turned into a screaming match that neither of us won at. I started to drive towards my house and he followed me walking alongside my car yelling about how we all use the road as our own personal freeways and his kids play out there. I yelled at him and told him that maybe he might want to think about not letting his kids play in the road and have them in bed when it’s after 9pm. He didn’t like that and told me not to tell him how to parent. I then said: “I’m was not TELLING, I was only SUGGESTING”. Anyway I told him he had 2 choices. I told him one: I dared you to set even one foot onto my property and continue yelling or two: we could call the police and let them settle this for us.

My dog came out in a VERY PROTECTIVE manner and started growling and barking at him. It freaked him out and he left and walked back to his house. I came in the house and called the police. We ended up not actually pressing charge against him but we do have a case number so next time he even looks at us wrong we will follow through with the harassment charges.

Nick went down to the guys house and told him that we had a case number and he had better leave us and everybody else alone about “going too fast”. Nick told him that we called the police and also that the LEGAL speed limit on our road is 25 mph and that we could continued to drive whatever speed we felt like going under 25. Nick then informed him that if he had any more problems we didn’t want him to talk to us about them but that he could just call the police.

Hes probably the biggest ASS I have EVER MET!

A day of beauty

Emmy sent me a text to see if I wanted to go to Crater lake but since the roads were probably still not the best we decided to go to Applegate lake. We took the dog and hiked around all day.  The weather could not have been any more permitting with only a few clouds that scattered across the sky. The sun was hot on our faces but the wind did a good job at cooling our body temperatures.

It was beautiful and absolutely peaceful. After the dog was accepting of the “perfect stick” we let him chase it many times swimming after in in the water. We drove around in 4 wheel drive exploring more than ordinary sights and hiked along crystal clear waters until the many trails led us to dead ends. By the time the dog fell over from exhaustion we were ready to go home as well.

On the way into town we stopped and picked up coronas and limes and sat outside to enjoy the last bit of sun until we were off to meet up with Friends. I’m overly tired and I’m looking forward to bed!

On my way home I had an incident with my ass hole neighbor that pushed me to file harassment charges against him. The dick even made my husband so mad that Nick yelled at him for many minutes. I have heard Nick yell only once, I found it very hilarious! In the morning I’ll fill everybody in on the incident. As for now I can hear my bed taunting me with it comfort!

Weekend in Review

Saturday morning I got a call from Nick’s mothers cell at 7:00am asking if I could go into work “RIGHT NOW” because the girl that was supposed to work the morning shift had just gotten into a car accident.  I had only had about 4.5 hours of sleep but I couldn’t exactly say tell her, “no”.  I got up took a shower, did my makeup in the car (I KNOW THIS IS DANGEROUS) and got to Talent by 8:00am.

The coffee stand already had about 3 cars driving around like vultures waiting for somebody to open so they could get their usuals .   I was an hour late when I got there  and EVERYBODY had to ask a million questions and then the following conversations started with EVERY SINGLE CAR THAT CAME THROUGH FOR THE NEXT HOUR: how come you are opening so late?  Because Katy was in a car accident but she is okay, I don’t know what happened because I didn’t ask. I don’t know if her new car is okay, no I’m not NEW here I work the evenings, my In laws own the coffee stand.  Yes that makes Nick’s my husband.  Yes I enjoy working here,  yes it is nice to get the tips, thank you for being so patient, now what can I get you?

I eneded up staying till about 3:00pm.  Nick came and brought me something to eat and come work the next few hours for me.  I needed go home and take a nap so I would not be tired and have to cancel dinner plans with our friends.  I would have to say that working the morning shift was nice because I had $60 in tips by the time I left.  People tip a lot better in the AM.

I got home and immediately got in bed.  I had been desperate for sleep from the minute I got the 7:00am phone call.   I woke up at 6:30pm, got ready and my sweet husband asked me if I wanted to go to Macey’s and Old Navy to buy some new cloths. DUMB QUESTION.  They are my 2 FAVORITE STORES.  I was stoked!  I bought a necklace and a pair of jeans from Macey’s but didn’t feel much like looking around for things I really needed like shirts and shoes.  I was still feeling sluggish.

Old Navy was not much better, I walked from the front to the back of the store about 2 or 3 times before a table of colored shirts coughs my eye.  I grabbed 3 that looked pretty and met nick at the register.    About the time we were done it was time to meet Jay and Meg at the Outback for some dinner.  I was starving and decited that I wanted prime rib.  It was pretty much amazing and dinner was a lot of fun.  We laughed the entire time.  After dinner we went to Barnes and Nobel to look at books and take a friend some of the leftovers so he wouldn’t starve.  We stuck around till he was off at 10:15pm.  At this time it was pouring rain (which canceled our prior plans to go to the Mt.) and were still looking for something to do.  We pretty much said fuck it and lets all go stand in the rain up at the Mt. around a huge fire regardless of the weather.

By the time we got up to the Mt and made our fire it was nearly midnight.  To our luck the rain had let up to just light mist that easily evaporated near the fire.  We had amazing conversations about life and about the paranormal.  Josh told us things that made the hairs on our neck stand up.  We decided to leave after we had all scared ourself and it was after 2:00am.  The drive back down with my husband was nice.  We discussed our night and what our favorite “scary stories” were and how our night was.

It’s nice to have friends that are adventurous and willing to take risks to be together.

Paddling under the influence

The rain has been coming down most of day prohibiting me from going outside.  I have been stuck in the house all day.  I guess it’s been a good thing though, because I have been cleaning all the things that don’t get cleaned on a regular basis.  My house itself has been clean but I have been spending time cleaning the oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, laundry room, and tackling the massive pile of laundry that we have.

I’m hoping to go out tonight to see Emmy and Barb and have a drink or two but the way the weather is coming down I might have to take a fucking raft to the bar……I wonder If I could still get a DUI if I was paddling under the influence…..I’m sure I could.
